RTI專訪伴侶盟許秀雯律師關於日前同志伴侶擬參加北市聯合婚禮遭拒、婚姻平權法案在立院受阻、恐同宗教組織、恐同法務部以及同志在生活中的種種不間斷的挑戰與戰鬥。

Victoria Hsu is the co-founder and CEO of the Taiwan Alliance to Promote Civil Partnership Rights, an organization aimed at seeking equal rights for those who do not conform to social norms and patterns, including the LGBT community.

An advocate of same-sex marriage and an outspoken critic of what she called the justice ministry's unhealthy attitude towards the LGBT community, Hsu said it's unfair and discriminatory that the Taipei City Government has refused to allow a lesbian couple to attend a group wedding to be held by the city.

"Human rights and dignity are something that should not be decided by public consensus," said Hsu.
